JOB OVERVIEW
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collaborate with GMI technology, business, legal, and privacy teams to understand and pioneer consumer and marketing data use cases, including audience segmentation, personalization, reporting and analytics, and paid media targeting.
- Work with product teams and key business stakeholders to understand business objectives and priorities to identify data opportunities and solutions.
- Translate use cases, conceptual designs, and other business / legal considerations into organized and thorough technical designs and requirements.
- Define data ingestion and ETL modelling flows for consumer data in the enterprise cloud (EX : Google Cloud Platform) data lake.
- Create and help maintain shared documentation, including data flow diagrams, data management plans, and table documentation.
- Work within an agile development framework to clearly communicate requirements via user stories to data engineers and provide continuous support to ensure flawless execution and timely delivery.
- Define data quality rules, address data issues with productionized tables, investigate root causes, and create bug fix tasks for data engineers.
- Understand, document, and communicate timelines, priorities, and delivery plans across technology, legal, privacy, and marketing teams.
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements and drive user stories to closure.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of data and / or analytics experience2+ years of experience writing SQL or other programming languageExperience with dimensional modeling, relational data, ETLs, and writing analytical queriesExperience with writing technical requirements and creating documentation such as data-flow and entity-relationship diagrams.Familiarity with cloud and marketing technology tools (such as Google BigQuery, Composer, Looker, Tableau, Salesforce)Experience in consumer-focused roles with strong business acumenProven track record coordinating multiple projectsExceptional organization, project management, and communication skillsExtremely detail-orientedExcellent problem-solving skillsSelf-managing, results-oriented team player, and capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously through rigorous prioritizationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
