Role Overview :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Application Support Engineer to provide first-level support for both internal and client-facing applications. The role involves monitoring systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide first-level support for internal and customer-facing applications.
  • Monitor system alerts, logs, and dashboards to ensure application stability and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to applications, servers, or databases.
  • Escalate unresolved incidents to senior engineers following defined escalation protocols.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams for efficient issue resolution.
  • Participate in shift operations or on-call rotations, as required.
  • Learn and apply ITIL-based processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of OOPs concepts, Power Platform, Python, and SQL.
  • Awareness of web technologies, APIs, and networking fundamentals.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and support processes.
  • Exposure to automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Preferred / Nice to Have :

  • Internship or academic project involving software troubleshooting or automation.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
