As a Technology Presales Manager, you will be at the forefront of engaging customers, shaping digital solutions, and driving adoption of ABBs flagship ABB Ability Genix platform. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where youll combine deep technical know-how with strong business acumen to deliver winning solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understand and Map Needs : Engage with customers and stakeholders to uncover pain points and business goals, translating them into tailored digital solutions.
  • Own Solution Architecture : Define high-level solution designs aligned with customer requirements and ABBs capabilities (IoT, digital twins, analytics, cloud platforms).
  • Showcase Value : Lead demos, PoCs, and pilots, customizing presentations for industries, scenarios, and integration needs.
  • Craft Winning Proposals : Develop compelling technical presentations, proposals, and RFP / RFI responses that clearly communicate business value.
  • Collaborate & Influence : Act as the bridge between sales, customers, and product teamsfeeding back insights to shape product roadmap and positioning.
  • Drive Solution Feasibility : Support scoping, estimations, and risk identification to ensure scalable and deliverable solutions.
  • Build Expertise & Relationships : Stay ahead on industry trends, conduct enablement sessions, and establish trusted advisor relationships with customers.

Basic Qualifications :

  • BE / BTech - CSE / EEE / IT or similar Engineering Discipline + MBA (or equivalent advanced degree) from a recognized university.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in technology presales or solution consulting in enterprise software, analytics, or industrial digitalization
  • Strong track record in leading demos, PoCs, proposals, and RFP / RFI responses for large enterprise customers.
  • Hands-on experience with Industrial IoT, data analytics, AI / ML, and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value propositions for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills comfortable addressing both technical and CXO audiences.
  • Exposure to global software leaders (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, Cognite, Microsoft, AWS) or similar in positioning industrial digital solutions.
  • Willingness to travel to support presales engagements.
