Job Purpose
To build and lead high-performing project teams, drive cross-functional collaboration, and align project outcomes with broader business and investment objectives into Wind Renewable Business.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead complete project lifecycle including planning, engineering, execution, commissioning, and handover for multiple renewable energy projects across locations.
- Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting national and international quality, safety, and performance standards.
- Oversee land acquisition, right-of-way resolution, and timely statutory, regulatory, and connectivity approvals.
- Direct and mentor project teams; coordinate closely with procurement, supply chain, engineering, finance, technology, and O&M for seamless execution.
- Review and approve project designs, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans, ensuring robust governance and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor project cash flows, budget vs. actuals, and take corrective actions to protect profitability and returns.
- Build and manage relationships with EPC partners, vendors, consultants, investors, lenders, and regulatory authorities.
- Spend significant time at project sites to resolve execution bottlenecks and drive timely completion milestones.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline; MBA preferred but not mandatory.15+ years of overall experience with at least 10+ years in senior project management roles in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, hydro, green hydrogen).Proven track record of delivering large-scale utility or industrial renewable projects, including power evacuation and grid connectivity.Strong knowledge of project planning and execution, renewable technologies, power evacuation systems, CAPEX / OPEX budgeting, and project finance fundamentals.Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with high resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
