SAP Datasphere (Freelance)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

SAP Datasphere Consultant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using

SAP Datasphere

to support data integration, modeling, governance, and analytics across our enterprise systems. This position requires hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, strong SAP expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement end-to-end data models using

SAP Datasphere .

Connect SAP and non-SAP data sources using

Data Integration tools

within Datasphere.

Develop and manage

semantic models ,

views , and

data layers

for analytics consumption.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Ensure

data governance ,

data lineage , and

data quality

best practices are followed.

Monitor and optimize performance of data models and integrations.

Work closely with BI teams to ensure smooth data delivery to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other front-end tools.

Support migration of legacy data solutions to

SAP Datasphere .

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and access.

Stay up to date with new features and best practices in SAP Datasphere and related technologies.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience with

SAP data platforms , including

SAP Datasphere

(formerly DWC).

Strong experience with

SAP HANA ,

SAP BW / 4HANA , or

SAP S / 4HANA

data sources.

Proficiency in

SQL ,

data modeling , and

ETL / ELT

processes.

Experience integrating data from various sources (on-premise / cloud, SAP / non-SAP).

Understanding of

data warehousing

concepts,

semantic layer modeling , and

data governance .

Familiarity with

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

or other BI / reporting tools.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
