Non-performing Asset ( NPA ) Acquisition (Immediate Start)

Job Description

We are seeking an Assets / Land Acquisition specialist for one of the Grade A real estate developer in South India. The individual would be responsible for sourcing, evaluation, and acquisition of distressed assets / NPA (Non-Performing Assets) / large land parcels across key markets.

Key Responsibilities :

I. Sourcing :

a. Identify acquisition opportunities in stressed assets, NPAs, and assets under IBC / DRT proceedings.

b. Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, ARCs & insolvency resolution

professionals

II. Evaluation & Due Diligence :

a. Conduct financial, legal, and technical due diligence of potential opportunities.

b. Assess viability, risks, and valuation of assets.

c. Work with internal teams and external advisors for transaction evaluation.

III. Transaction Management :

a. Negotiate terms with stakeholders, including banks, ARCs, IPs, and lenders.

b. Support structuring of acquisition proposals, bids, and resolution plans.

c. Coordinate with legal counsel and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory

requirements.

Education & Experience :

 CA / MBA (Finance) / or equivalent graduate

 6+ relevant experience in distressed asset acquisitions, land acquisition, corporate restructuring, etc.

 Knowledge of IBC process, DRT proceedings.
