We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to be responsible for accounting activities, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
This role will involve the month-end close process, general ledger management, and the preparation of reports that contribute to the company's financial consolidation. The Senior Accountant will work closely with internal teams, external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and transparency in financial reporting.
Your contribution to the team includes :
- Lead and assist with the month-end close process for the component, ensuring that all accounting entries are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheets in compliance with US GAAP.
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure that financial transactions are appropriately recorded.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, corporate policies, and internal control procedures and monitor adherence to internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Assist with external audits, providing documentation and financial reports as requested.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from senior management.
What you'll need to be successful :
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or similar role.Experience in Big 4 public accounting.Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification or equivalent is a must-have.Familiarity with the month-end close process and financial reporting under US GAAP.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.49918
