Job Title : Senior Java Developer (3–5 Years) — Onsite | Bengaluru South

Location : Bengaluru South, Karnataka, India

Job Type : Full-time, Onsite (Monday to Friday)

Experience Level : Mid-Senior (3–5 Years)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and committed Senior Java Developer to join our backend engineering team in Bengaluru South. This is a full-time onsite role (5-day working) focused on building scalable APIs and enterprise-grade backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. You’ll work in an agile Scrum environment and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA
Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Implement Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT for secure API access
Conduct unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test
Use AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, SonarQube) for code generation, review, and testing
Participate in Scrum ceremonies : stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers
Maintain clean documentation and contribute to code reviews

Must-Have Qualifications

3–5 years of professional experience in Java backend development

Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, SonarQube)

Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams

Stable work history : ≤2 company switches, with ≥3 years at one firm

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Strong communication skills and understanding of the Indian IT ecosystem

Nice-to-Have Skills

Exposure to CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Experience with Docker, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Familiarity with Swagger / OpenAPI, Kafka, RabbitMQ

Contributions to open-source Java projects or public portfolios

Agile / Scrum certifications or advanced Java / Spring credentials
