Business Intelligence Report Developer

About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SSRS Report Developer to join our team and help design, develop and optimize reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing SSRS reports with a strong expertise in SQL driving business intelligence initiatives with agility and precision.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SSRS reports tailored to evolving business reporting needs.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and manipulate data from relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred).
• Perform thorough database performance tuning and rapid troubleshooting to meet urgent business demands.
• Ensure all reports are clear, actionable, and optimized for performance and scalability.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot report errors, issues, or data discrepancies.
• Deploy, schedule, and manage report delivery within the SSRS environment, including permissions and subscriptions.
• Prepare technical and user documentation for deployed reports and dashboards.
• Provide support and training to end-users regarding report navigation and interpretation.
• Stay up to date with best practices in SSRS, SQL optimization, and business intelligence reporting.
