About the Role :
We are looking for a seasoned Frontend Technical Lead who excels in JavaScript and TypeScript and has deep experience in building scalable, performant, and maintainable frontend applications.
You will lead a team of engineers, drive technical decisions, and work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect, design, and implement scalable web applications using JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Own the technical roadmap and lead the adoption of best practices in frontend architecture and development.
- Mentor, coach, and manage a team of frontend engineers.
- Perform code reviews, provide technical feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Product Managers and UX / UI Designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless API integration.
- Set and enforce coding standards, performance benchmarks, and testing strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend technologies and proactively suggest improvements.
- Break down complex projects into actionable tasks with accurate estimations.
- Ensure timely delivery of features and updates with high code quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScriptExpert-level knowledge in at least one modern framework / library : React.js, Vue.js, or AngularDeep understanding of frontend architecture, component design patterns, and state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Pinia, etc.)Experience with build tools and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Rollup)Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design practicesExperience with unit, integration, and E2E testing frameworks like Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, etc.Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices for frontend deploymentProven ability to lead and grow a team of engineersStrong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders(ref : hirist.tech)
