Role Description
We are looking for a creative Video Editor cum Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling through visuals and eager to gain hands-on experience in video editing, motion graphics, and design for digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short- and long-form videos for [Company's website and social media accounts
- Take charge of video ideation and creation
- Ensure videos meet the marketing team's specifications and guidelines
- Implement creative notes from stakeholders
- Offer the best digital experiences
- Evaluate projects for brand authenticity
- Adding graphics to enhance footage
- Improving and correcting lighting, colouring, and faulty footage
- Making revisions to edits upon request
- Design still marketing posts and graphics
- Shoots video and produces content as necessary
Skills and qualifications
Familiarity with video editing software like Final Cut Pro and Premiere ProCapacity to communicate effectivelyAttention to detailAbility to pick out attention-grabbing shotsExcellent storytelling skillsKnowledge of basic editing principlesAbility to work with multi-track split audioKnowledge of aspect ratiosSkills
