Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement & execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for high-quality chemicals, solvents, lab equipment, and packaging materials.
• Manage procurement processes including RFQs, purchase orders, and contract management.
• Ensure all purchases comply with industry regulations and maintain documentation for audits.
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships, perform supplier audits , and assess performance on quality, price, lead time, and service.
• Analyze market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on purity standards or compliance .
• Coordinate with production, QA / QC, R&D, and warehouse teams for real-time demand planning and inventory control.
• Track market trends, price fluctuations, and lead-time changes for key raw materials.
• Ensure procurement compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and plan purchases.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Use ERP systems to streamline procurement processes and maintain full traceability.
• Implement and maintain procurement KPIs to evaluate operational efficiency and its performance. viz : -  [On-time Delivery from Suppliers,  Procurement Cost Savings (YoY),  Vendor Lead Time Compliance,  Purchase Order Accuracy, Supplier Defect Rate / Quality Rejections, Number of Approved Strategic Vendors,  Stockout Incidents due to Procurement Delays, Contract Compliance Rate,  Cycle Time for Procurement Process].
