QA Automation Engineer

Job description2–5 years of professional experience in QA Automation . Strong proficiency in Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation tools . Experience with programming / scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript . Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI). Knowledge of CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions . Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail). Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and software testing lifecycle (STLC) . Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of mobile automation tools like Appium . Experience with cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Familiarity with BDD / TDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave). Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and automation frameworks. Key responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using automation tools.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test components.
- Identify, log, and track defects and issues through to resolution.
- Integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines .
- Perform root cause analysis of failed tests and ensure consistent test coverage.
- Participate in test planning, documentation, and review sessions .
- Continuously enhance automation coverage and testing efficiency.

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IT, Electronics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
