Job description

Job Description :

  • Build and maintain serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and EventBridge.
  • Develop and manage RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support aviation data services and integrations.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented Python code for backend services and automation.
  • Use AWS CDK to define and deploy infrastructure as code.
  • Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines using GitLab for automated testing and deployment.
  • Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-optimized.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and features.
  • Proactively explore and recommend new tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve system performance and developer productivity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and Agile environments.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • High level of ownership and accountability in delivering quality solutions.

Requirements :

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • 2- 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS.
  • Proficiency in Python for backend development, scripting, and automation.
  • Experience with the following AWS services : Lambda, S3 DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, IAM, and CDK.
  • Good understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with GitLab for version control and CI / CD pipeline management.
  • Experience with Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring and logging.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
  • AWS Certifications are a plus.
  • Good understanding of REST / GraphQL API.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and integrating security into CI / CD pipelines.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
  • Experience in the aviation, aerospace, or transportation industry.
