Location : Bengaluru [Hybrid]

Department : QA

Experience : 4-5 years

Job Type : Full-Time

Compensation : ₹10–15 LPA (Based on experience and skills)

Role Overview

INVICTUS is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications—focusing on automation testing, performance testing, API testing, and third-party integrations using Selenium.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, automate, and maintain comprehensive test cases for web and data-driven applications.
  • Conduct integration testing with third-party APIs and services.
  • Validate API functionality, performance, and error handling using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
  • Perform performance testing using tools such as JMeter or Locust.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy, consistency, and backend workflows.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Log, track, and manage defects through structured defect management processes.
  • Participate in regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Contribute to test planning, effort estimation, and process improvements within QA.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in software QA with strong automation exposure.
  • Mandatory :

    • o Automation testing with Selenium

    o Performance testing using JMeter / Locust (or equivalent)

    o API testing with Postman, Swagger, or Rest Assured

    o Integration testing with third-party APIs and systems

  • Strong expertise in web application testing with large datasets and complex workflows.
  • Proficiency in SQL / NoSQL databases with ability to write complex queries.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across teams.

    • Immediate joiners preferred (15 days buffer acceptable).

    Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
  • Experience with additional automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD, containerization (Docker / Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices for data engineering.
  • Experience in performance tuning and data security best practices.
