Adapted Sports India Foundation is a not-for-profit headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana State, India, focusing on the sporting rights of persons with disabilities. We advocate for inclusive sport opportunities, sharing grassroots stories that create pathways for individuals and their families to engage in physical activities. Our mission is to amplify narratives that challenge stereotypes and remove barriers to equitable sport participation for Indians with disabilities.

Role Description

This is a remote internship role. The intern will be responsible for conducting research, supporting content creation, assisting with social media management, and helping to coordinate advocacy campaigns. Additionally, the intern will gather and document stories from grassroots initiatives and contribute to project planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Research and Documentation skills
• Content Creation and Social Media Management skills
• Strong Communication and Collaboration skills
• Interest in Advocacy and Passion for Adaptive Sports
• Bachelor&aposs degree in progress or completed in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Sports Management, Communication)
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience working with persons with disabilities is a plus
