We are seeking a Purchasing Officer (SME for our product suite) to optimize procurement operations using Scry AI solutions, ensuring transparency, compliance, and efficiency in vendor and purchasing processes.
Role Overview
As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, evaluating supplier contracts, and ensuring procurement efficiency. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Scry AI’s solutions such as Collatio® – Contract Intelligence, Invoice Reconciliation, Financial Ops Automation, and EDD, applying them to real-world purchasing and compliance use cases.
This role requires both procurement expertise and the ability to leverage AI-driven automation tools to enhance accuracy, reduce costs, and strengthen compliance across purchasing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
Manage end-to-end purchasing cycles : vendor sourcing, evaluation, contract negotiation, and onboarding.
Ensure purchase requisitions and orders are accurate, timely, and aligned with company policies.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and compliance.
AI-Driven Procurement Optimization (SME Role)
Use Collatio® Contract Intelligence to analyze supplier contracts, terms, and compliance risks.
Apply Collatio® Invoice Reconciliation to validate invoices against agreements, detect duplicates, and prevent overpayments.
Support enhanced due diligence (EDD) for vendor risk assessment using Collatio® KYC & EDD.
Leverage Auriga® to query procurement data, generate analytics, and automate reporting.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
Generate procurement intelligence dashboards and exception alerts using AI-powered tools.
Maintain accurate purchase and contract records, ensuring audit readiness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with finance, operations, and compliance teams to align purchasing strategies.
Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on procurement-related AI workflows.
Support training and adoption of Scry AI solutions across procurement teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
3–6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or vendor management.
Strong knowledge of vendor evaluation, negotiation, and compliance processes.
Hands-on experience with AI / automation platforms for procurement
Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets, ERP / Procurement systems, and contract analysis.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret financial and contractual documents.
Strong attention to detail with a compliance-first mindset.
