Position Title : Expeditor

Job Summary : Expeditor is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate flow of materials to support production and project schedules. This role primarily involves coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, resolving delivery issues, managing inventory, and communicating with concerned departments like projects and quality control to prevent delays. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, ERP software skills, Knowledge about latest International commercial terms and basic production knowledge.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience : 2-4 years of experience working as Expeditor in Manufacturing (Firefighting preferred) / EPC company.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in inventory management / ERP software, Microsoft office tools and project management software.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present reports on status of all purchase orders & delivery updates clearly to stakeholders.
- Leadership : Displays strong leadership qualities with the ability to take initiative and drive results independently.
- Attention to Detail : Identifying early bottlenecks and keeping reporting manager updated.
- Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and procurement staff.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordination & Tracking : Coordinating and tracking the flow of materials, parts, and components within or between departments, and with external vendors.Expedite deliveries : Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies.Inventory Management : Monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure adequate stock availability.Collaboration with Project Teams : Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of estimates and alignment with project requirements and timelines.Continuous Improvement : Keep up with industry trends, new materials, and innovative technologies to improve estimation accuracy and processes.Working Conditions :
Full-time Position.Primarily office based.Occasional travel may be required to project sites or client meetings.Compensation :
