Experienced Associate - External Auditsd
Whilst working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include planning, directing and completing audits; supervising staff; and reviewing financial statements and related technical accounting services. You&aposll work closely with partners and staff on people and client management and practice development.
What You&aposll Be Doing
- Run smaller client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits and managing to budget
- Prepare or review work papers and drafts of the financial statements
- You&aposll produce client deliverables, specifically drafting reports for management review
- Identify, discuss and propose conclusions on technical areas of financial reporting and audit issues identified during the course of the audit
- Oversee aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
- Take an active part in the audit planning discussions to identify audit risks and devise an appropriate audit strategy
- Be a key client contact, providing a hands-on role that exceeds client expectations
- Supervise, train, and mentor interns on audit process
- Work with audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during audit process.
- Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
- Gain comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements.
- Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
