The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining EDI systems to ensure seamless and accurate data exchanges between business partners and internal systems.
With 5-7 years of experience, this role demands a strong understanding of key EDI transactions.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a solid grasp of the inner workings of Liaison (now part of OpenText) integration solutions and modern ERP systems.
They will be responsible for troubleshooting EDI issues and optimizing EDI processes to enhance business operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage EDI on-boarding and Testing
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI-related issues promptly, providing timely support to internal staff.
- Work closely with IT and ERP teams to ensure seamless integration between EDI platforms and ERP systems.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization within EDI operations.
Qualifications & Experience :
Educational Background : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3-5 years of experience in EDI administration, with a strong focus on transaction sets 850, 860, 846, 856, 810, and 997.Proficiency with Liaison EDI integration tools and experience working with modern ERP systems.Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
