Pricing and Profitability Consultant – Personal and Private Banking
Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic Pricing and Profitability Consultant to join our Customer Risk team. This role will drive initiatives across unsecured , secured , and insurance products to optimize risk-adjusted returns , define risk appetite , and simulate lending strategies using customer-level profitability insights and scenario models .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop account-level profitability models by defining revenue and cost drivers tailored to product types and segments.
- Conduct deep dives into profitability by product, risk, price, and customer cohort , identifying high-ROE and low-retention segments.
- Define risk appetite thresholds , simulate risk-return trade-offs , and design concentration risk limits aligned with portfolio strategy.
- Create and monitor price-point strategies to unlock margin value and customer lifetime profitability.
- Translate customer behavior and CLTV insights into segment-specific lending strategies .
- Run lending strategy simulations under macro, portfolio, and customer behavior scenarios to guide tactical decisions.
- Work with product and finance stakeholders to shape Go / No-Go decisions and long-term capital planning .
- Support the build-out of performance dashboards and visualize pricing, profitability, and strategy metrics using Power BI or similar tools.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years in retail banking , risk analytics , and profitability modeling .Strong understanding of RoE , customer lifetime value , and portfolio risk-return frameworks .Hands-on expertise in segmentation, pricing analytics, and capital allocation .Proficiency in SAS / Python, Excel and PowerPoint for insight generation.Experience working with cross-functional teams across product, risk, finance, marketing, and data engineering.Familiarity with lending simulation models , stress testing , or capital demand forecasting .
