Job Title : Partner Solutions Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Support

Guide partners through API integration processes (Job Postings API, reporting APIs, XML ingestion).

Respond to support queries via Zendesk using predefined playbooks.

Troubleshoot API errors, analyze logs, and identify root causes.

Technical Tasks

Use tools like Postman, curl, and command-line utilities for API testing.

Perform configuration tasks in LinkedIn’s internal systems.

Assist with certification by reviewing partner implementation videos against test cases.

Collaboration & Communication

Manage multiple customer threads simultaneously.

Escalate unresolved issues to the full-time program owner when necessary.

Maintain clear, empathetic communication with customers.

Top Technical Skills

REST APIs and HTTP fundamentals.

Familiarity with Java (primary stack), XML, and basic scripting (bash).

Knowledge of API debugging tools (Postman, Charles Proxy).

Nice-to-have : SQL querying for HDFS data stores, AI tools like Copilot.

Additional Expectations :

Strong Communication Skills

Ability to manage multiple customer threads, communicate clearly, and empathize with customers. This is considered a critical success factor for the role.

Customer-Facing Experience

Prior experience in roles involving direct interaction with customers is highly valued.

Self-Management & Problem-Solving

Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues beyond the playbook, and escalate when necessary.
