Job Description :

The Associate / Senior Associate plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of Global Business Services – Record to Report Team (GBS-R2R). Following are some of the key responsibilities of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• To Prepare a Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis and highlight any open item to the Local FBS and Controllership through Open Item Tracker.
• Hands on experience of handling Fixed assets creation, deletion and modification.
• In depth knowledge of relevant accounting standards both under IFRS and IND AS covering Fixed asset management.
• Ability to vouch the asset creation requests by applying statutory & internal laws and policies respectively. This includes computation of Depreciation, sale / disposal of assets, asset retirement obligations.
• Preparation and maintenance of Fixed Asset Register to cater the requirements of month close activities. Swiftly handling all kinds of queries from internal stakeholders relating to asset management.
• Create Asset through voucher load process, Intangible Assets validation, Test controls, KPI reporting, Adhoc analysis.
• Knowledge about AM module features in ERPs and ability to handle the same.
• Managing the audit queries and preparation of schedules required for audit.
• Understanding the key asset management processes and updating the stake holders for latest amendments / changes in the relevant applicable laws / standards.
• Interacting with customers (internal) to resolve the deficiencies in the asset modification requests and seek for quick resolution.
• Strong accounting knowledge covering fixed assets and intangible assets.
• Analytical skills to measure the asset additions / deletions / depreciation of multiple periods.
• Related experience would be preferred and should be willing to work in Shift - 12.30 PM to 9.30 PM India Time

 Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, MBA-Finance with related practical experience in BSR & Asset Management; Semi Qualified (CA-Intermediate) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Management Accountant (CMA)
