Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain responsive, user-centric web applications using React.js.
  • Translate UI / UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure end-to-end functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning.
  • Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and usability issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
  • Mentor junior developers and help maintain coding standards across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in React.js.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or MobX.
  • Proficient in using React Hooks, Functional Components, and Component Lifecycle Methods.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming (Promises, async / await).
  • Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM / Yarn.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Experience with unit testing and testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme.
  • Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with TypeScript is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Next.js or server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
  • Basic understanding of CI / CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to GraphQL and modern API design is a plus
