Job Description – Waiter / Junior Waiter

Location :  Mon Petit Frère, Colva, Goa

Reports To :  Floor Supervisor / Restaurant Manager

Employment Type :  Full-time

Salary :  ₹17,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our front-of-house team as Waiters / Junior Waiters. The role involves providing attentive guest service, maintaining restaurant standards, and supporting smooth daily operations. Candidates should have good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

  • Welcome and seat guests with professionalism.
  • Present menus, explain specials, and take accurate orders.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly.
  • Respond to guest requests and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and follow-ups.

Operational Duties

  • Set, clear, and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of dining areas and service stations.
  • Stock, polish, and replenish cutlery, crockery, glassware, condiments, and supplies.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as per shift requirements.

    • Teamwork & Support

  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow.
  • Support colleagues during peak hours and ensure efficient teamwork.
  • Guide and assist new or junior staff as required.
  • Be open to training and development to progress to senior roles.

    • Requirements

  • Previous experience in F&B service preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
