Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a range of IT systems, services, and tools. He / she will work closely with the IT department to ensure the smooth operation of Office 365 applications, licensing management, user access control, and infrastructure. He / she will also be expected to troubleshoot and provide support for a range of IT issues, from networking and firewall management to backup solutions and asset management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Office 365 Applications : Manage and support Office 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Troubleshoot user issues, configure applications, and ensure proper integrations.
- Licensing Management : Oversee the licensing for Office 365, ensuring all users are appropriately licensed, tracking renewals, and addressing licensing-related queries.
- Intune Policies : Manage and enforce Intune device management policies for mobile and desktop devices. Ensure devices are compliant with security protocols and standards.
- Active Directory : Administer Active Directory (AD) for user account management, permissions, and group policies. Ensure proper access control and troubleshoot related issues.
- SCCM : Manage and maintain System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, patch management, and inventory management.
- Veeam Backup : Oversee Veeam backup solutions, ensuring data protection, regular backups, and proper disaster recovery procedures. - optional
- Subscription Management : Handle software subscription management, renewals, and licensing across various platforms, including Office 365 and other enterprise applications. - Optional
- Freshservice ITSM & Asset Management : Utilize Freshservice ITSM for service management, incident resolution, and asset management. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets, ensuring tracking and proper allocation. - Optional
- Networking and Firewall : Assist with networking and firewall management, ensuring network security, configuration, and performance. Troubleshoot connectivity and security issues.
- Linux Proficiency : Provide support for Linux-based systems, including administration, troubleshooting, and system updates.
- Support & Troubleshooting : Provide day-to-day IT support to end-users, resolve hardware / software issues, and troubleshoot IT systems and infrastructure.
- Documentation : Create and maintain clear documentation for processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure all systems and services are documented accurately for internal purposes.
Requirements
Experience : 3–5 years.
Proven experience supporting Office 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.Strong knowledge of licensing management, particularly for Office 365 and Microsoft-related products.Experience with Intune policies and device management for mobile and desktop environments.Solid understanding of Active Directory for user management and group policy configuration.Hands-on experience with Hyper-V And SCCM for software deployment, patch management, and inventory management.Experience with Veeam backup solutions for data protection and disaster recovery.Proficient in using Freshservice ITSM for service management and asset management.Knowledge of Networking & Firewall concepts including configuration, security, and troubleshooting.Linux proficiency for administration and support in a mixed-OS environment.Experience with subscription management for enterprise software.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits
