Experience : 35 years in relevant field

Job Description :

The Mechanical Sourcing Engineer will be responsible for the identification development and management of suppliers for mechanical components. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective procurement timely delivery and quality assurance of mechanical parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Mechanical Component Development & Sourcing
• Identify develop and qualify vendors for mechanical components.
• Collaborate with design and production teams for component feasibility and manufacturability.
• Commodity Expertise
• Experience with Sheet Metal Plastic Parts Rubber Components Fasteners and Labels .
• Perform cost analysis and estimation for these commodities.
• Costing & Negotiation
• Conduct supplier cost breakdown analysis.
• Lead cost negotiations and finalize pricing with suppliers to achieve target cost objectives.
• Tooling & Mold Development
• Manage development of tools dies and molds including cost evaluation and supplier coordination.
• Vendor Development & Management
• Identify vendors for special processes and ensure supplier capability and capacity.
• Maintain supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Compliance & Standards
• Ensure adherence to international standards ( ISO / AS ) related to supply chain and sourcing.
• Procurement Process & Delivery
• Execute purchasing processes and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time availability of components for production.
• Communication & Leadership
• Demonstrate excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills for effective supplier management and cross-functional collaboration.
