Key Responsibilities :
Plan, prepare, and present continental dishes (pastas, salads, sandwiches, grills, etc.) with consistency and quality.
Create new menu items and contribute innovative ideas for café- style plating and presentation.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and storage standards as per FSSAI norms.
Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations efficiently.
Ensure proper stock control, portion management, and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with the café manager for menu planning, specials, and catering orders.
Uphold quality and taste standards for all items served.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Continental Chef / Commis I / Demi Chef de Partie in a café, bistro, or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of sauces, pastas, salads, and baked items.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail.
Excellent sense of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Team player with good communication and leadership skills.
Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred.
