We are a fintech start-up based out of Bangalore. We are three founders onto our 2nd innings. All three of us are ex-bankers. Nitin and Viraj are successful entrepreneurs, and Amit is a seasoned banker.

Job Description

1. Ind AS & Financial Reporting

Assist in preparation of

quarterly and annual financial statements

as per

Ind AS applicable to NBFCs

Support in the

preparation and review of Ind AS adjustment workings

(EIR, DTA, ROU, Derecognition, Fair valuation, etc.)

2. Monthly Book Closure

Assist in

monthly closing activities

Prepare and update

MIS reports

, variance analysis, and management-level presentations.

Ensure accurate posting and maintenance of financial records.

3. Audit Support

Provide end-to-end support for

statutory audit

limited review

, and

tax audit

Liaise with

Big 4 external auditors

, ensuring timely submission of data, reconciliations, and clarifications.

Coordinate with

Internal Audit team (Big 6)

for walk-throughs, sample testing, and closure of audit observations.

Preparation of submission to be done to SEBI or RBI

4. Internal Controls & Compliance

Assist in

designing, documenting, and implementing internal financial controls (IFC)

Support in strengthening processes related to financial reporting, accounting, and operational controls.

Follow up on open audit points and support in their remediation.

5. Financial Operations & Analysis

Prepare workings for regulatory submissions (RBI-related financial data, if required).

Any other Adhoc work related to Financial Reporting and Audit
