Job Summary :

As part of the Microsoft for Startups initiative, we're looking for a highly experienced Azure Solution Architect with over 10 years of IT experience and a specialization in Azure IaaS, Security, and Cloud Architecture. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technologist and a trusted advisor who can lead cloud transformation engagements, design enterprise-grade solutions, and guide clients in their Azure adoption journey. This role is perfect for a thought leader who can translate complex business needs into secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Azure solutions across various enterprise environments.
Develop detailed solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications for cloud transformation projects.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures.
Conduct workshops, advisory sessions, and training to accelerate clients' cloud adoption strategies.
Provide technical leadership during migration projects, ensuring successful deployment and optimization of cloud resources.
Implement Azure Security best practices, governance frameworks, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure platform resilience.
Perform cost optimization assessments to help clients maximize their return on investment (ROI) on cloud spending.
Mentor and coach junior team members, guiding them toward technical excellence and relevant Azure certifications.
Serve as a trusted advisor, driving the adoption of new Azure features, functionalities, and competitive technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

10+ years of IT industry experience, with at least 5+ years in Azure solution architecture and consulting.

A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency :

Proven expertise in Azure IaaS solutions and enterprise infrastructure management.

Strong knowledge of Azure Security principles, governance, and compliance frameworks.

Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes on Azure.

Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) within Azure.

Certifications :

Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Mandatory)

Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate (Mandatory)

MCSE / MCSD (Preferred)

Preferred Skills :

Experience in managing large-scale databases on Azure.

Hands-on experience with cloud deployment tools and CI / CD pipelines.

Familiarity with Azure PaaS services.

Experience with disaster recovery strategies and high availability design.
