About the Role
We're looking a motivated and experienced Quality Analyst Automation Engineer to join our growing team. You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure high-quality delivery of new features and integrations for our API and data platforms. This role involves managing requirements, validating features, supporting UAT, and ensuring a smooth product experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test cases, user stories, specifications, and workflows.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web applications and API testing.
- While the primary focus of the role is on automation, you may also need to be involved in manual testing for complex or edge-case scenarios as needed.
- Continuously improve the automation framework by adopting new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and validate product features within Jira.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout development and testing phases to identify and resolve issues early.
- Track and manage feature development and defect backlogs to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Support Agile teams by actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Required :
2–5 years of experience in QA automation or software testing.Hands-on experience with one or more automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).Strong skills in any of the programming / scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java).Experience working with automated test frameworks and contributing to their maintenance or improvement.Solid understanding of testing types : functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory.Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have :
Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured.Knowledge of BDD / TDD methodologies and tools (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin).Exposure to JMeter or any other performance tool
