Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth, reliable, and safe operation of all plant equipment. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance , and associated utilities. The engineer will work closely with production, quality, and safety teams to deliver high equipment uptime and comply with FMCG industry standards. He is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from concept to completion. This role involves technical design review, vendor coordination, cost control, site supervision, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Reports To : Engineering Manager / Director

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Maintenance & Operations

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for :
• Dryers (Spray Dryer)
• Centrifuges
• Vibro Shifters / Sifters
• HVAC / AHU plant
• Pumps (High Pressure upto200 kg / cm2)
• Utilities (Chilling plant, Boiler, HAG, Water Treatment Plant)
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure optimal performance, alignment, lubrication, and calibration of equipment.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools and MS Office (MS Project / Primavera preferred).
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, IS, API, etc.).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
