Key Responsibilities
Documenting financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and managing journals and individual accounts.
Preparing and presenting financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Developing, monitoring, and analyzing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Calculating and filing tax returns and ensuring the company's financial records comply with tax laws and other regulations.
Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction, profit enhancement, and improved efficiency.
Reconciling account information, resolving financial discrepancies, and cooperating with auditors during audits.
Assessing and recommending improvements to existing accounting procedures and implementing new financial policies and systems.
Skills And Qualifications
Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Oracle, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is crucial.
Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and identify key financial trends.
