About the client
We are hiring on behalf of one of our global technology clients. The organization operates at scale across multiple regions and is seeking a Contracts Specialist with strong expertise in vendor management, contract operations, and commercial analysis. This role involves close collaboration with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Business teams while managing the full lifecycle of technology and vendor contracts.
Role Description
The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts end-to-end. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, proven negotiation skills, and experience working within the contracts ecosystem. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to drive strategic improvements across contract processes.

Responsibilities
Contract Management & NegotiationReview and analyze vendor contracts with attention to detailInterpret and redline contractual clauses;identify risks and ensure compliance
Negotiate contractual, commercial, and legal terms with vendorsFinancial & Data AnalyticsCalculate contract values using pricing models and historical dataMaintain and manage contract-related data for reporting and insightsConduct cost-benefit analysis and identify savings opportunitiesTrack financial performance and prepare dashboards / reports for stakeholdersStrategic InitiativesIdentify improvement opportunities in vendor and contract operationsSupport transition initiatives such as T&M to MSP modelsContribute to vendor consolidation and other cost-optimization strategiesEnsure continuous improvement across contract practicesCross-Functional Collaborationa. Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Business teams
b. Act as a subject-matter expert for contract-related inquiries

Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in contract management, vendor negotiations, or contract analysisMandatory experience within the contracts ecosystem : legal, procurement, vendor management, or contract operationsStrong understanding of contractual clauses, terms, and redliningProven vendor negotiation and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical skills;proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SQL or BI tools
Experience with process improvements and vendor management strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environmentPreferred Skills
Experience handling technology / vendor contracts in IT, SaaS, or professional servicesExposure to vendor model transitions (T&M → MSP)Strong ability to manage and influence stakeholders
