Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Engineer with proven Product Owner experience to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mainframe technologies, particularly DB2 and Advanced SQL, along with a solid background in Agile methodologies and project management. Prior experience in the banking domain is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked with American Express (Amex) systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as a Product Owner for Mainframe-related projects, driving strategy and execution.

Lead and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Mainframe DB2 systems.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals.

Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.

Ensure data integrity and compliance within banking systems and workflows.

Mandatory Skills :

Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe DB2.

Proficient in Advanced SQL and performance tuning.

Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience.

Prior experience as a Product Owner in Mainframe projects.

Banking domain experience is essential.

Proficient in Agile methodologies.

Demonstrated Project Management capabilities.

Nice to Have :

Experience with American Express (Amex) systems or processes.

Working knowledge of Oracle databases.

Exposure to Data Analytics or data-driven decision-making.
