Job description

Role : Assistant Territory / Territory Manager in Multiple Divisions

Job Type : Permanent

Base Location : Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Sales & Marketing :

  • Taking initiative for Sales growth in the assigned territory as per the sales and marketing strategy of the department.

Analyze customers unmet needs and market potential for new opportunities in sales and upgrade equipment & instruments in Government institutions, Key Corporate accounts, and trade hospitals.

  • Build and maintain a market database to achieve present and future sales objectives of KARL STORZ India.
  • Ensure that all external stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, biomedical, and purchase teams are being met regularly to provide consultation in surgery and technological updates.
  • . Customer relationship management :
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the functioning of KARL STORZ equipment & instruments in the Operating room as per the feedback from the Operating room staff and surgeons.
  • Coordinate with Service teams to ensure the equipment is up and running in the territory.
  • Product and market knowledge :

  • Develop and periodically enhance knowledge of the product's features and benefits, correct product application, anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedure knowledge through practical experience, training programs, and learnings from key end-users.
  • Channel management :

  • Manage, maintain, and strengthen the relations with channel partners in the assigned territory ensuring their requirements are met and that they promote KARL STORZ products in their local territory in a compliant manner.
  • Monitor AR, and operating expenses as per travel and entertainments policy. Seek prior approval for any deviations as per the DOA.
  • Expenses & equipment :

  • Coordinate and ensure the availability of products for demo purposes. Provide regular inputs to the concerned team for maintaining optimum stock levels.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :

  • MBA and Graduate in Engineering / Science as a background (B.Sc., B Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, Bio-Med Enyin sers, etc.)
  • 3-8 years of experience in healthcare sales. Prior experience in medical devices / pharma is preferred
