Senior Economists

to join our

Economics Department

in

Bengaluru

• . This role will be integral in providing strategic, economic, and financial advisory services to support client visions and guide decision-making across a range of complex and high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop economic strategies for regional, urban, and industrial plans using both quantitative and qualitative methods

Lead or contribute to business cases, feasibility studies, and economic impact assessments

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes

Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance and control standards

Support business development activities including contribution to project proposals

Attend and lead client meetings, presentations, and workshops as required (travel may be involved)

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in

economics

, or a related field

Master’s degree (M.A OR MBA) is a strong advantage

Minimum of

10 years of experience

in consulting, strategic planning, or project development roles, Investment Banking, Business Analysis, Cost Benefits Analysis, market assessment; market research; project feasibility study, development strategy, economic impact assessments, regional and industrial assessments.

Demonstrated experience in delivering economic advisory within sectors such as real estate, transport, environment, tourism, industrial zones, and social infrastructure

Strong communication skills (verbal and written), problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Clear and confident in both written and verbal communication, especially with clients and stakeholders

Analytical Thinking :

Strong capability in both qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop evidence-based strategies

Technical Expertise :

Demonstrated ability to provide sound economic advice across varied and complex projects

Project Management :

Skilled in managing timelines, deliverables, and interdisciplinary coordination

Leadership :

Proven experience in leading teams and driving project success
