Role & responsibilities

Prepare, review, and revise commercial contracts including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and IT, Digital agreements.

Negotiation Support :

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to negotiate contract terms that protect the companys interests.

Contract Lifecycle Management :

Maintain a centralized contract repository, track key milestones (renewals, expiries, obligations), and ensure timely execution and compliance.

Risk Assessment & Mitigation :

Identify potential legal risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies.

Compliance & Governance :

Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination :

Work closely with procurement, finance, operations, and business teams to align contract terms with operational needs.

Template & Process Optimization :

Develop and maintain standard contract templates and improve contract management processes for efficiency and consistency.

Reporting & Documentation :

Generate periodic reports on contract status, risks, and performance metrics for senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in law (LLB); masters degree (LLM) preferred.

3-8 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting.

Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

High ethical standards and attention to detail.

Exposure in finance sector is preferred
