Senior QA Engineer - Automation

Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and scale automated test suites for web and backend applications.
Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure seamless CI / CD testing.
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with developers to resolve issues.
Lead test planning, requirement reviews, and risk assessments.
Mentor junior QA engineers and help build a high-performing QA team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Proficiency in at least one automation tool or framework : Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured.

Strong programming / scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java.

Experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Hands-on experience with version control (Git), test management (JIRA, TestRail), and defect tracking.

Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
