We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Digital Health Research Project Manager to lead and support multiple research and innovation projects in digital health. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing research studies, coordinating multi-stakeholder collaborations, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones in healthcare innovation, clinical research, and digital product evaluation. This role bridges research, operations, and innovation—working across teams that conduct usability studies, clinical validations, market analyses, and digital health evidence generation for startups, pharma, and healthcare systems.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Digital Health Research Project Manager to lead and support multiple research and innovation projects in digital health.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Management
- Lead end-to-end management of digital health research projects — from scoping and protocol development to execution, reporting, and dissemination.
- Develop and manage project plans, Gantt charts, and deliverable timelines.
- Oversee regulatory submissions (IRB applications, data privacy reviews) and ensure compliance with ethical and data protection standards.
- Coordinate project workflows across research, operations, analytics, and communications teams.
Stakeholder & Client Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison between sponsors, investigators, collaborators, and internal teams.Conduct regular update meetings, manage expectations, and ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and next steps.Support client engagements for research partnerships with digital health companies, health systems, and pharma clients.Research Execution
Support study design, data collection, analysis, and documentation for usability, feasibility, and clinical validation studies.Manage recruitment efforts, participant scheduling, and study logistics.Oversee data management and ensure quality assurance in data collection and reporting.Assist in drafting research manuscripts, white papers, and conference abstracts.Financial & Administrative Oversight
Monitor project budgets, vendor invoices, and resource allocations.Track contract deliverables and ensure timely invoicing and reporting.Innovation & Strategic Support
Contribute to proposal development, grant applications, and new business initiatives.Stay updated on digital health regulations, emerging technologies, and evaluation frameworks (e.G., FDA digital health policies, DTx standards, AI validation best practices).Qualifications
RequiredPhD or Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Biomedical Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.3–5 years of experience managing research or evaluation projects in digital health, healthcare, or life sciences.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Strong understanding of research design, human subjects protection, and digital health innovation processes.Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.Preferred
Experience with telehealth, digital therapeutics, or AI in healthcare.Experience with IRB submissions and regulatory documentation.Familiarity with MS office 365, SharePoint, Teams, etc.Prior experience in a contract research organization (CRO), healthcare innovation lab, or academic research setting.Pay range and compensation package
