Role Overview :

We are seeking instructional design and enablement-focused professionals with hands-on experience in Merchant / Seller Training, Content Development, Knowledge Base Management, or Technical Documentation within a marketplace or B2B platform. This critical role supports the development and benchmarking of Large Language Models (LLMs) by designing and validating workflows that directly impact merchant learning efficiency, platform understanding, adherence to best practices, and overall success. The specialist will be crucial in recreating complex platform and policy scenarios to validate AI outputs and ensure educational content is accurate, scalable, and highly consumable.

What does day-to-day look like :

Accurately map and recreate complex merchant learning and support workflows, covering onboarding tutorials, new feature adoption guides, policy interpretation flows, knowledge base article creation / governance, and in-platform guidance (tooltips / flows).

Rigorously validate AI-generated outputs in educational scenarios, such as drafting help center articles, summarizing complex policies, creating chatbot responses for common merchant queries, and generating training modules, ensuring technical accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance with legal / platform rules.

Simulate critical merchant learning and discovery challenges, including :

Learning Path Simulation : Testing AI support for dynamic course recommendations, personalized guidance based on merchant performance, and scenario-based training exercises.

Content Discovery & Use : Validating AI reporting on article clarity, search relevance, and the effectiveness of knowledge base content in reducing support tickets.

Policy Interpretation Audits : Performing structured reviews to ensure AI output delivers unambiguous, compliant interpretations of complex merchant policies (e.g., return rules, listing standards).

Provide detailed, structured annotations and high-quality datasets derived from help center interactions, technical documentation, and training materials to continuously improve LLM training and evaluation for better educational content generation and platform guidance.

Requirements :

Proven experience (3+ years) in a hands-on role within Technical Writing, Content Strategy, Instructional Design, or Seller / Partner Training for a digital platform or marketplace.

High familiarity with industry-standard LMS (Learning Management Systems), CMS (Content Management Systems), Knowledge Base Platforms (e.g., Zendesk Guide, Confluence), or authoring tools used for technical documentation and content governance.

Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on content accuracy, clarity, and the merchant learning experience (LX). Ability to identify AI shortcomings that result in confusing, misleading, or non-compliant educational material.

Conceptual understanding of how usage data, search queries, and support deflection rates are used for training and evaluating Machine Learning models (LLMs) to drive better educational outcomes.

Excellent written English required for creating precise, training-quality instructional content and meticulously validating the technical accuracy and pedagogical soundness of AI-generated learning materials.

Offer Details :

Commitments Required : 40 hours per week with overlap 4 hours with PST

Engagement type : Contractor assignment(no medical / paid leave)
