Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Academic Counsellor - Sales to guide students in making well-informed academic and career choices. The role involves providing personalized counselling, supporting admissions, and ensuring students are enrolled in programs that align with their aspirations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a target-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counselling

  • Provide academic and career guidance to students and parents.
  • Assess students’ interests, academic background, and goals to suggest suitable courses and pathways.
  • Address queries related to programs, eligibility, outcomes, and career prospects.

2. Program Guidance

  • Explain program structures, curriculum highlights, and learning outcomes clearly to students and parents.
  • Stay informed about educational trends, new programs, and institutional policies.

    • 3. Follow-Up and Conversion

  • Engage with prospective students through regular follow-ups via calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Support students in completing documentation and enrolment formalities efficiently.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to achieving high conversion rates.

    • 4. Target Achievement

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment and revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance admissions performance.

    • 5. Collaboration

  • Coordinate with faculty, admissions, and marketing teams to ensure seamless counselling and onboarding.
  • Represent the institution in webinars, seminars, and other outreach events.

    • 6. Record Maintenance

  • Maintain accurate records of counselling interactions, enquiries, and conversions.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on counselling performance and outcomes.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Experience in academic counselling, telesales, or the education sector is desirable.
