Positions : Assistant Professor of Law

Department : School of Law

Location : Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal, India

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver engaging lectures and mentor students in the study and practice of law.
  • Handling departmental and administrative responsibilities.
  • Lead curriculum development, research initiatives, and legal clinics.
  • Publish ground-breaking legal research in reputed journals.
  • Guide and inspire students to excel in their academic and professional pursuits.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to elevate the department's and university's standing.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • A Ph.D. in Law with good academic records is MANDATORY.
  • Atleast 5-8 years of experience.
  • LLM with over 55 per cent.
  • NET / SET qualification is desirable.
  • Proven record of excellence in teaching and academic leadership for at least 2 to 3 years.
  • Significant legal research contributions with publications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
