The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting the hotel management school, driving student admissions, building partnerships with schools / colleges, and enhancing brand visibility through effective marketing campaigns and networking.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Marketing Executive located at IIHM SILIGURI. The Sales Marketing Executive will be responsible for market planning, market research, communication, sales, and marketing activities on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities : -
- Student Admissions & Sales
- Generate leads and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Counsel students and parents about courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Achieve monthly and annual enrolment targets.
- Marketing & Branding
- Plan and execute digital and offline marketing campaigns (social media, education fairs, seminars, workshops).
- Develop promotional materials (brochures, flyers, presentations, website content).
- Enhance brand visibility and reputation in the education and hospitality sector.
- Business Development & Networking
- Build relationships with schools, colleges, career counsellors, and placement agencies.
- Coordinate with hotels and hospitality organizations for internships, placements, and collaborations.
- Organize events, open houses, and campus visits.
- Market Research & Strategy
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends.
- Provide feedback to management for course improvement and new program development.
- Suggest innovative strategies to attract and retain students.
Qualifications Skills & Experience
Degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field.1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or admissions (education / hospitality sector preferred).Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Willingness to travel for promotional activities.Market Planning and Market Research skillsExcellent Communication skillsSales and Marketing expertiseExperience in the Hospitality industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related fieldAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
