Job Description
The Area Head will be responsible for driving business growth for the Lotherme range of repair & maintenance welding consumables and reclamation services in Odisha. The role involves leading a regional team, developing applications, expanding the customer base, and achieving defined sales targets across key industries and plant segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to existing and prospective customers to understand requirements, offer solutions, and build long-term relationships.
- Evaluate business potential across various industries, plants, and applications within Odisha to identify growth opportunities.
- Work with customers and technical teams to introduce and develop new applications for Lotherme repair & maintenance consumables and reclamation services.
- Identify, target, and onboard new customers to expand market penetration and regional footprint.
- Drive the team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets as defined by the organization.
- Guide, coach, and monitor the Odisha business development team to ensure productivity, capability building, and goal alignment.
- Provide timely reports on market movements, competitor activity, customer feedback, and business performance.
Requirements
Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Welding Engineering on acceptable5–10 years of experience in industrial sales, ideally in welding consumables, repair & maintenance products, or related engineering solutions.Strong understanding of repair welding, maintenance welding, and reclamation processes.Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.Excellent communication, customer-handling, and team leadership skills.Willingness to travel extensively within Odisha.Benefits
