Job descriptionConduct keyword research to optimise content for search engines. Ensure that all content is SEO-friendly and helps improve our online visibility. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and plan content marketing campaigns. Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas that align with our brand and marketing goals. Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy. Ensure all content is free from plagiarism and adheres to our brand guidelines. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' content to identify opportunities for improvement. Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of content and make recommendations for improvements. Work closely with designers, videographers, and other team members to create multimedia content. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights for content creation. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Content Writer or similar role. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong knowledge of SEO and content optimisation techniques. Proficiency in using content management systems (e.g., WordPress). Familiarity with social media platforms and content distribution. Creativity and the ability to generate unique content ideas. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality content. Portfolio of previous work showcasing diverse writing styles and formats.
