Position : Data Analyst Manager – Admissions

Role Overview
The Data Analyst Manager will lead data-driven decision-making for the Admissions Department by analyzing applicant data, campaign performance, conversion metrics, and forecasting admission trends. The role is critical in optimizing enrollment strategies, improving lead-to-conversion ratios, and supporting leadership with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze large volumes of admissions data (leads, applications, conversions, enrollments).
- Design and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and KPIs for daily, weekly, and monthly reviews.
- Track performance of admission counselors, teams, and marketing channels.
- Analyze campaign ROI, source-wise performance, and funnel drop-offs.
- Forecast admissions targets based on historical data and current trends.
- Work closely with Admissions, Marketing, CRM, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify gaps, patterns, and opportunities to improve enrollment efficiency.
- Automate reporting processes to improve turnaround time and accuracy.
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure data governance, quality checks, and compliance with institutional standards.
- Lead and mentor junior data analysts / MIS executives.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in Excel , Google Sheets , and Power BI / Tableau .Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, LeadSquared, or similar).Understanding of admission funnels, lead management, and conversion analytics.Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field.Master’s degree (MBA / Analytics) preferred.7–10 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in education, admissions, or sales analytics .Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or lead role.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
