Job Description

Synechron is seeking a talented and motivated Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android application development and Java programming, with a passion for creating innovative mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Android development.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs.

Collaborate with QA and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Qualifications & Skills :

3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Android application development using Java.

Strong understanding of Android SDK, app lifecycle, and UI / UX principles.

Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries and integrations.

Experience with Kotlin is must.

Knowledge of SQLite, data storage, and offline storage solutions.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Prior experience working with cloud services like AWS or Azure.

Understanding of security principles related to mobile applications.
