Job descriptionAchieve 42% GHG reduction by 2030 and net zero by 2050 Ensure 100% responsible aquaculture practices across shrimp and feed supply Promote safe, decent, and equitable work across farms and processing plants Deep knowledge of aquaculture sustainability, responsible sourcing, and environmental / social standards Expertise in ASC, BAP, and audit schemes (e.G., BSCI, SMETA, SA8000) Experience with GHG Protocol, LCA methodologies, and antibiotic management Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsible Sourcing Manager – Global Frozen Business (Aquaculture)
Location : India
Function : Global Shrimp Procurement
Reports to : VP of Global Frozen Procurement & Senior Director of Social Impact – Sustainability
Travel Required : Yes
Language : English (Proficient)
Thai Union Group is seeking a Responsible Sourcing Manager to lead our global frozen procurement efforts and drive impactful change across our shrimp supply chain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement aquaculture responsible sourcing roadmaps aligned with Thai Union’s sustainability goals.
- Policy & Standards : Adapt Group Sustainability standards for aquaculture, ensuring compliance and performance across global teams.
- Supplier Engagement : Collaborate with Category Managers and Purchasing teams to monitor supplier performance and drive improvement initiatives.
- Sustainability Projects : Lead Aquaculture Improvement Projects (AIPs), supplier development programs, and initiatives focused on GHG reduction, antibiotic use, and certifications.
- Compliance & Certifications : S tay ahead of regulatory changes (e.G., ASC, BAP) and integrate best practices into procurement operations.
