Job description

Job Title : Technical Writer (WFO)

No. of Positions : 1

Locations : Pune

Position Type : Full-Time

CTC : 5 LPA

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create Error and Success Messages that are user-friendly, concise, and aligned with the platform’s tone.
  • Draft informational tooltips (“i” symbol content) for all features to guide users intuitively.
  • Write onboarding form content to ensure smooth user registration and setup.
  • Develop step-by-step tutorials for each module of the platform (written & visual).
  • Script and collaborate with the design / video team to produce tutorial videos for all modules.
  • Draft and maintain Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy in compliance with applicable laws and SaaS industry standards.
  • Prepare content for customer agreements and other legal or operational documents related to the platform.
  • Create technical blogs and news articles related to security, SaaS, and cybersecurity.
  • Draft technical press releases highlighting platform updates, product launches, and company milestones.
  • Curate content for technical presentations for internal, client, and conference use.
  • Write email templates and all other communication templates for user engagement, onboarding, notifications, and marketing.
  • Create and maintain product documentation using platforms like Mintlify, ReadMe, GitBook, or similar.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure content accuracy and usability.
  • Ensure all content follows brand guidelines, is consistent, and enhances the overall user experience.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a technical / content writer for SaaS products, web applications, or software platforms.
  • Strong understanding of UX writing principles and ability to write for different user journey stages.
  • Experience in drafting legal & policy documents (T&C, privacy policy, user agreements).
  • Proven ability to create email and other communication templates that align with brand tone and enhance user engagement.
  • Ability to convert complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
  • Proficiency in creating scripts for tutorial and explainer videos.
  • Proven ability to write technical blogs, press releases, and presentations for a tech-focused audience.
  • Hands-on experience with documentation tools like Mintlify, ReadMe, GitBook or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of software workflows & SaaS industry terminology.
  • Excellent command over English language (written and verbal).
  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with product, design,
